Psychiatry that puts people first
ADHD Doctors was created by consultant psychiatrists with a clear goal: to provide care based on each patient's needs and the best available evidence, rather than a "one size fits all" approach.
Why we started
Our founders spent years working in NHS mental health services and saw the same story again and again: capable, intelligent people waiting years for an ADHD assessment, then receiving rushed appointments and generic advice. Lives were on hold.
We set up ADHD Doctors to do it differently. Consultant-led assessments within days, not years. The same clinician throughout. Clear, honest pricing. And an NHS Right to Choose service so that quality care is not limited to those who can pay.
Today our team of over 40 clinicians supports thousands of patients across the UK, in person and by secure video.
What we stand for
Personalised care
Every treatment plan is built around your life, wants and needs. We listen first and prescribe second.
Evidence-based medicine
We follow NICE guidance and the latest research. If a treatment does not have good evidence, we will tell you.
Empathy and respect
Neurodivergence is a difference, not a deficit. We work with you as a partner in your care.
Transparency
Clear fees, published waiting times and honest conversations about what we can and cannot do.
Continuity
You see the same clinician from assessment to follow-up, with a named patient coordinator you can reach directly.
Safety and governance
CQC regulated, with clinical governance led by our Medical Director and regular peer supervision for all clinicians.
Regulated, registered, accountable
Care Quality Commission
Registered with and inspected by the CQC, the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
General Medical Council
All our doctors are on the GMC register, and our consultants are on the specialist register in psychiatry.
Data protection
Registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. Your records are stored on an encrypted, UK-hosted clinical system.
