ADHD Doctors works with GP practices across England that have accepted our shared care plans for ADHD, enabling our patients to receive their medication through the NHS once titration is complete.
Most GPs accept our shared care plans; where a practice declines, our team will support you with alternatives, including continuing private prescriptions or a list of practices in your area that have accepted shared care.

Frequently asked questions
A structured clinical interview with a consultant psychiatrist lasting 90 to 120 minutes, informed by validated rating scales (such as DIVA-5 and ASRS), a developmental history and, where possible, information from someone who knew you as a child. You receive a written report with a diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
Yes. All ADHD and autism assessments follow NICE guideline NG87 and CG142 respectively, and are carried out by clinicians with specialist training. This is why our diagnoses and treatment plans are accepted by GPs for shared care.
Both. You can see us at our clinic or from home via our secure video platform. The assessment content and report are identical either way.
Reports are usually sent within five working days of your appointment, and we can share a copy with your GP with your consent.
Yes. Existing patients can order repeat prescriptions online. Prescriptions are issued electronically to a pharmacy of your choice, typically within two working days.
Absolutely. If you have an existing diagnosis from another provider we can review your records, confirm your treatment plan and take over prescribing and follow-up. See our fees page for transfer-of-care pricing.
